T E C Industrial Employees Help Provide Relief to Eastern Tennessee

Nov 11, 2024

Due to the unfortunate circumstances associated with unprecedented flooding and wind damage caused by Hurricane Helene in East TN and Western NC, many residents lost their homes, sustained damages, experienced losses to their personal property, and were without power, water, and electricity for weeks. Under the leadership of H.R. Director Andi McKinney, our fellow employees collected and distributed critical supplies for those affected and delivered to the Northeast Tennessee Disaster Relief Center a full trailer-load of goods.

T E C Industrial’s President Greg Boehling commented: “We could not be prouder of the commitment shown by so many of our colleagues for their collective generosity as evidenced by the volume of goods collected and donated in such a short period of time. We also thank our parent company Comfort Systems USA for their support to our affected employees through the Comfort Care’s Employee Relief Fund which helps employees who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster or an unforeseen personal hardship.”
