Joshua Davis Joins TEC Industrial as Corporate Quality Director

May 27, 2026

TEC Industrial’s Chief Operating Officer Tony Calderone is pleased to announce the appointment of Joshua Davis to the position of Corporate Quality Director. Josh brings over 20 years of progressive experience in mechanical systems, piping inspection, welding, and quality oversight within industrial and manufacturing settings. He has managed inspection teams and provided quality assurance for several large-scale projects. Notably, the majority of his career has been spent on the owner-user side of construction, providing him with a strong understanding of client expectations, project execution, and compliance requirements.

He holds multiple industry certifications and possesses technical expertise in welding methods, NDE techniques, inspection and testing planning, and compliance with ASME and API codes. Josh offers a proven track record of advancing through field-based roles with increasing leadership responsibilities.

A native of Surgoinsville, TN, Josh values a strong family-first mindset and brings that perspective into his professional approach. He is excited to venture into the future with TEC Industrial and looks forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth and success. He will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Kingsport, TN.

According to Calderone, “Josh brings a tremendous depth of technical knowledge, leadership experience, and practical field expertise that will further strengthen our commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality and execution to our clients. What particularly stands out about Josh is his extensive experience from the owner-user side of the industry. That perspective gives him a unique understanding of what clients expect and value, and it aligns extremely well with TEC Industrial’s customer-focused approach. His background in welding, inspection, compliance, and quality assurance on large-scale industrial projects will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and expand our capabilities.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Josh’s family-first values and East Tennessee roots make him a natural fit for our culture and our team. We are excited about the leadership, integrity, and experience he brings to TEC Industrial, and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our company, our employees, and our clients.”
